Welcome to the website of the Embassy of Belgium in Singapore. Belgian nationals residing in Singapore will find detailed information here about the services provided by our Consulate General. With over 1,500 Belgians, our community in Singapore is diverse, dynamic and constantly evolving. Several Belgian associations have been established, such as the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (BLCC) and the Belgian-Luxembourg Association of Singapore (BLAS). These organisations are always looking for motivated individuals who wish to contribute, whether by supporting Belgian businesses in Singapore or by strengthening our expatriate community.

Friends of Belgium seeking information about our country will find useful resources on this website, as well as on the general website of our Ministry. Topics include visa applications, document legalisation, entry requirements to our country, economic diplomacy, Belgium's foreign policy and much more. Please do not hesitate to contact the Embassy or the representatives in Singapore of our Regions' investment and export promotion agencies (AWEX, FIT, hub.brussels) directly. My team and the teams of our regional representatives are at your disposal and will do their best to assist you.

As for myself, I am honoured to represent Belgium in Singapore and to work on deepening relations between Singapore and our country. Singapore and Belgium have enjoyed excellent relations since 1966. In 2025, Belgium welcomed a Singaporean President on a state visit for the first time in its history. President Tharman Shanmugaratnam's state visit in March 2025 was a great success.

2026 will mark 60 years of diplomatic relations with Singapore, making it a particularly meaningful year for our Embassy in Singapore, our businesses and our Belgian community. It is with great dedication and enthusiasm that I will continue to foster the close and friendly relations between our two countries.
